Human Litter, Trailer Trashby Cathy Buburuz
A red neck sittin'
on an old lawn chair
oblivious neighbors
who just don't care
human litter, trailer trash
drinking beer with Johnny Cash
Folsom Prison
and a Boy Named Sue
a wife with black eyes
and a go screw you
a TV blarin'
with old rabbit ears
a rusted old Chevy
don't give me the gears
a gun rack with a rifle
hangs in the living room
the whole decrepit trailer
reminds her of a tomb
a wailing baby on a blanket
in the corner on the floor
makes her seriously wonder
if she can take this anymore
social assistance checks
six bottles of wine
Saturday nights
a real good time
junk yard dog
cat with fleas
a bitch for a wife
who just can't please
pass another bottle
don't mess with this man
and the wife pulls the trigger
just because she can.
