Hi. I'm D
J Barber. I've been writing full time for about a year. When I was a kid I used
to love to read (still do) and that led to an interest in writing. I like the
old scifi space opera stuff, as well as, high fantasy. I also enjoy macabre,
Alfred Hitchcock-esque stories.
I have had two short stories published in Moonlit Path; A Small Death,
which won the Mystery Contest in August, 2006 and Of Black Cats and Brooms,
Witches, and Full Moons, which was an Honorable Mention in October, 2006.
In December, 2006, I had a novel published by Darker Intentions Press, called:
Canyons of Gray--about a Private Eye in search of the killer of his
former secretary. It's available at Darker Intentions Press and Borders.com.
I also have a short story in the upcoming antho, Damned in Dixie, edited by
Ron Shiflet, called: The Cootsy.
I have a short-short appearing in the November 2007 edition of Odyssey Magazine called Slipstream.
